First of all, there are state facilities, private national facilities, and western-oriented private facilities like 3 types of hospitals in Russia.

Despite of the private hospitals, public clinics do not have the best customer services, shorter waiting times, and English speaking staff, so if you have complicated case it would be better for you to go to a private clinic.

Due to the CSIC ranking there are a lot of the high-quality clinics in Moscow and Saint Petersburg. The well-known of them are the following:
